Privacy Statement

This is a courtesy translation of the Dutch privacy statement. In the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
The Factory House, a trade name of Inez Kuiper (part of Inez Interior Design), based in Muiden, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement.
1. What data I process, and why
I only process the personal data that is necessary to handle your request or booking, or that you provide to me yourself.
1.1 Booking form
When you fill in the booking form on this website, I process: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of request (photoshoot, film, meeting, workshop, full day programme or other), preferred date, number of people, and the content of your message. Purpose: responding to your request and, if it leads to a booking, preparing it. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and once an agreement is concluded, the performance of that agreement.
1.2 Scheduling an introduction
When you schedule an introduction through this website, TidyCal processes the data you enter: your name, email address, and the chosen time slot. This runs through a separate calendar for The Factory House, apart from the introduction calendar of Inez Interior Design. Purpose: scheduling and confirming the appointment. Legal basis: taking steps prior to entering into a possible agreement.
1.3 Data for a confirmed booking
If you book the location, I additionally process: address details, billing details, and data needed for the rental agreement, such as the agreed use and number of people. Purpose: performing the agreement and meeting my administrative and tax obligations. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and legal obligation.
1.4 Website visits
I use Google Analytics to understand how this website is used, so I can improve the site. This only happens after you have given consent via the cookie notice on the website, in the same way as on inezinteriordesign.com. Legal basis: consent. See article 3 for more information.
1.5 Images from your own shoot or gathering
I do not process images that you make yourself during a photoshoot, film production, meeting or workshop at the location, for example of models, crew or colleagues. As the controller of those recordings, that is your own responsibility. See the General Rental Terms for arrangements on the use of images of the location itself.
2. Special and/or sensitive personal data
This website does not intend to collect data from visitors under the age of 16. If you suspect that I have collected data from a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian, please contact me and I will delete this data.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses the following types of cookies.
Functional cookies: required for the website to work properly. No consent is needed for these.
Analytical cookies (Google Analytics): I use these to measure visitor numbers and how the website is used. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent via the cookie notice. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
TidyCal: the scheduler on the Book page only loads once you open it yourself. If you do, TidyCal may place technical cookies to make the scheduling work.
I do not use cookies for advertising or to track your behaviour on other websites.
4. Sharing data with third parties
I only share your data with parties involved in my services, and never for those parties' own commercial purposes. Currently these are:
- TidyCal / Sumo Group Inc. (scheduling tool, United States; data processing agreement and transfers based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses)
- Resend (delivery of the email sent from the booking form, United States)
- Google Analytics / Google LLC (website statistics, United States, EU-US Data Privacy Framework)
- Knab (accounting and invoicing, the Netherlands)
- Vercel (website hosting, servers in the EU)
- Strato (domain name and email, the Netherlands)
Where applicable, data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties or their own terms apply. I never sell your data to third parties.
5. How long I keep data

6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or have your personal data deleted. You also have the right to withdraw previously given consent, to object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. You can send a request to info@thefactoryhouse.nl. I will respond within four weeks.
If you disagree with the way I handle your data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
7. Automated decision-making
I do not make decisions that could significantly affect you based solely on automated processing.
8. Security
I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. If you nevertheless have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or if there are indications of misuse, please contact me at info@thefactoryhouse.nl.

I may amend this privacy statement from time to time. The most recent version can always be found on this page.
